We recently completed a project in a beautiful period flat in Hampstead NW3, where the objective was to create a flexible, completely minimalist hanging solution for a collection that includes two striking pieces by the renowned American figurative painter Dominic Chambers.
For a space of this elegance, standard gallery tracks or traditional hanging hooks simply wouldn’t do. The client wanted a system that allowed for effortless rotation of large-scale artworks without compromising the pristine, clean lines of the walls.

Hampstead properties are celebrated for their character, but combining period charm with a crisp, modern interior aesthetic requires precise technical planning.
The star of the installation was two vibrant, large-scale works by Dominic Chambers, known for his surreal, literary-inspired silhouettes and deep, rich colour palettes. Hanging a piece of this scale and importance requires:

The Installation Process
Precision is everything when fitting a flush-mounted rig. Our technicians worked closely with the onsite team to ensure the track sat perfectly level with the plasterboard.
Once the rail was installed, we returned to handle the white-glove curation of the collection. Using transparent STAS ‘perlon’ cords and heavy-duty smart-spring hooks, we suspended the Dominic Chambers piece, aligning it perfectly with the room's natural light sources and architectural focal points.
The result is breathtaking: the artwork appears to float effortlessly on the wall, back-ended by a commercial-grade hanging infrastructure that fits neatly with the existing architecture.
